In 2005, as a husband-and-wife team with a shared dream, we planted our first vines in the Wenatchee, WA area.
Surrounded by the beauty of the valley, we began crafting wines from our own vineyard while sourcing other grapes from Yakima Valley and Horse Heaven Hills AVA. Mike would be the head winemaker crafting all of the delicious wines while Donna would take care of the day to day in the winery & tasting room.
Each harvest is a lesson in patience, passion, and the art of winemaking.
As our journey grew, we returned home to our 5th-generation family farm in Raymond, Washington, nestled in the heart of North Pacific County. Here, tradition and innovation meet. We now produce our wines on this heritage farm, cultivating Pinot Noir while continuing to source the remaining grapes from Horse Heaven Hills in central Washington.
Our farm is more than vines—it’s a living, breathing ecosystem, grapes are grown for wine, apples and pears for cider, flowers for the bees to produce honey, and grass to make compost, which is used for many farm products including garlic, all grown.
Every element reflects our belief that great wine is part of a greater story of stewardship and community.
Today, our tasting room offers a warm, comfortable space where friends, neighbors, and travelers can gather. Whether you’re here to savor a glass wine, cider, or simply share conversation, our winery is a place to connect—to the land, to the craft, and to each other.
The Name, WooHoo!!
When we first began our winemaking journey, we knew we wanted more than just a label—we wanted a name that captured the joy of what we were doing, from growing the grapes to making the wine, every step felt like a small celebration. We knew that winemaking wasn’t just about the end products, but the moments, the first sip of a new vintage, the laughter of friends in the tasting room, and the pride of harvesting grapes from our own farm.
So, when it came time to choose a name, we wanted something fun, easy, and full of life— something approachable for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned wine lover or just beginning your journey.
That’s how WooHoo Winery was born. Today, every glass we pour is a reminder that life is full of woohoo moments—big and small. Whether it’s celebrating a milestone, enjoying a sunset, or simply sharing a bottle with friends, we invite you to raise your glass and join us in saying: Woohoo!!
